The CBC Squash Club made a massive impact at the 2024 NSA Awards Ceremony for 2024, with three teams taking home prestigious prizes on the night!

First up, our Ladies 3rd League, captained by Shannon Pullock and featuring Teagan Kroukamp, Andrea Laubscher, Samantha Halford, and Kirsty Mpukusa, clinched the league title in stunning fashion, defeating a formidable Kentron side! Not to be outdone, our Ladies 2nd League finished strong in third place, rounding out a great night for our women’s teams.

On the men’s side, both our 7th and 8th leagues secured second place finishes, with standout performances from:

Men’s 7th League: Dylan Pullock (c), Vincent van Vollenstee, Gerard Hattingh, Divan van Heerden, Donovan de Villiers, and Steven de Villiers

Men’s 8th League: Johan Grobler (c), Juandre Biccard, Ruan Engelbrecht, Nets Turvey, and Dan Wermuth

With 78 members participating across 11 leagues throughout the season and a solid 54% win rate, CBC’s squash teams have truly outdone themselves! We’re incredibly proud of every player’s hard work and dedication – here’s to even bigger achievements next season!
